ThurayaECO prepaid plan

ThurayaECO is a new prepaid price plan that offers special discounted rates in 83 countries.

Branded as thurayaECO to reflect its economical appeal, the new prepaid service is designed to offer thuraya users a competitive, terrestrial – like pricing for a premium satellite service that provides uninterrupted, blanket coverage not only in urban areas but also in remote and rural regions under thuraya's footprint.

Special calling charges

With thurayaECO, enjoy very attractive satellite call charges in 83 african, asian and European countries.

There is a gradual increase in the call rates until 1st October 2009, as mentioned above.

Account validity

Account validity is extended by refill. Each scratch card has a corresponding credit validity period.

• Account remains on active status as long as account balance is within the credit validity period.
• Upon credit expiry, account enters into grace period. During the grace period, customer is given two months to refill his account to access thuraya services. Incoming calls are possible.
• If account is not refilled within the grace period, it will enter the reactivation period. No calls are possible during reactivation period, except calls to 150 (prepaid account main menu). Customer is given four months to reactivate his account by paying US $ 5.
• If account is not reactivated, it will be deactivated from the system at the end of the reactivation period.

Thuraya offers five types of recharge cards that include 10,20,39,50,80 and 160 units

Credit validity

Account can be refilled using normal thuraya scratch cards available in various denominations, starting as low as 10 units
